Stabilizer Quick Reference Chart By Fabric

Please use this information as base information. Factors such as your embroidery machine, needle type, garment quality, thread choice, and how the garment is hooped all go into how the design will stitch out.  You will want to do a test sew-out of the design and the same fabric (or as similar as you can find) before creating your final project.

If a design is large, overly dense or poorly digitized, float 1 or 2 layers of Medium Tearaway or Wet N Gone non fusible

(if you can use a washaway) under the hoop to support the excess stitches.

A topping on any design will improve it’s look by holding the threads a little above the fabric.

On fabrics where sewing the embroidery can damage the fabric, consider adding Dream Weave to prepare the fabric along with the normal stabilizers needed.
